2020 Leadership ConneXion
Event Details
Too often, as Christian organizations grow, the Gospel becomes cursory, expendable, or even forgotten. Having an increased awareness of the persecuted Church worldwide can provide the leader with the tools necessary to keep their constituencies prepared and praying effectively for our brothers and sisters there who are facing hardship, while keeping an eye open here in readiness in our own culture. Leadership ConneXion 2020 will have the opportunity to hear from Live Dead founder and author, Dick Brogden, on applying the biblical principal of living the crucified life (Galations 2:20) to everyday life and finding joy in the process and how to help others through this journey. As leaders in the world today, how can we come together to provide support and encouragement through those facing hardship and difficulty finding joy?
This all-day workshop is most effective when experienced by groups of three or more from the same congregation. If your church does not have a Missions Team already in place, but you’d still like to come, we suggest inviting others from your church to attend with you. Individuals are still welcome and encouraged to attend.
Cost: $50 per person (early bird rate only $40 until December 31!) — Seating is limited so register here today!
Cost includes lunch and snacks.
Those who register by January 4 will receive a complementary copy of Dick Brogden’s book, Live Dead Joy.
“This daily devotional celebrates a lifestyle based on the example of Jesus, who showed us how to live dead—not with dread but with great gladness. Written in a deeply personal style that provides a fresh perspective on the disciplines of the Christian life, each one of the 365 devotions is based on a suggested Bible reading. This devotional will put you on the path to a life of deeper faith and stronger dedication to Christ.”
